Quickie Update

Hi again!  I wanted to give a quick update, even though nothing majorly exciting has happened recently.  ;)

We're settling in to life in California, and so far the kids are getting great grades in their classes.  (Grades are posted online, so I check now and then.)  I'm so proud of both of their hard work at school. 

As for us, Tim is taking on some projects at work that he's excited about so that's good, but he'll definitely be busy.  It's awesome to me that we moved for a job he's enjoying though.  I'm trying to get into a routine and unpack the little stuff that got stacked in a closet.  I also am attempteing yet another diet while deciding if I want to go back to college in the spring or next fall.  It will depend on if I can pay in-state tuition even though I haven't lived here a year yet.  We'll see.  I'm also filling out my school volunteer forms.  Let the craziness begin!!

Other than that, I only have a couple photos (no kids or house photos though...yet...sorry.)  Yes, I'm still a slacker.

Also, this below made us laugh so I had to take a picture.  Looks like somebody in the Wal-Mart parking lot is moving!!

I wish I'd taken a picture of the other side.  It was full of a LOT of chairs and tables!!  That thing was piled HIGH and looked dangerous!!!!

Catching Up & Collin's 12th Birthday

I have not quit or disappeared, I just couldn't get the iPhone app for blogging to work properly.  So, now that my computer is unpacked.....BEWARE!!!  :)  I haven't taken many photos over the past month though, so hopefully some of you aren't disappointed.  LOL!

First off, over this past month we packed up the house in Arizona and moved to California.

It's weird seeing everything boxed up and ready to be loaded!

For Collin's 12th Birthday, we decided to go to Universal Studios Hollywood.  Unfortunately both kids did NOT want to let me take pictures so there are only a few.  (I had to beg.)

The kids only agreed to these next photos because it's their favorite movie.  They had just gone on a water ride and were very wet, so only their love of Scott Pilgrim could've enticed them to let me take a photo.  LOL!

Kylie's 15th Birthday (Only over a month late)

Kylie decided to have a small get together rather than a big party, so here are a few pictures of them hanging out, playing Rock Band and eating all kinds of stuff.  :)

Tim Quotes: Finally Organized

This is not a major update, I just wanted to share a link.  First though, if there are any visitors here who don't know me personally, here's a quick explanation:

My husband Tim is HILARIOUS most of the time (to us anyway).  I started posting "Timisms" on Facebook as status updates so I wouldn't forget them.  I kept getting, "These need to be a book!" comments.  While I'm not THAT ambitious, I did finally put ALL the Tim quotes from the past several years into one online document.  (All that I could remember to post anyway, there are tons that I forget!)  I was re-reading some of them recently and laughed, so I think they're still funny.  (Even though I am biased of course.)  Just click the word in all caps to go to the document.  Enjoy!

Wow, I'm already slacking? Must update NOW!

Here's a brief "What we're doing" list, but a better post will come later this week (with photos and stuff):

1.  We move NEXT WEEK!!!  Wow.  It seemed far, but now it's almost here.

2.  We're going to the midnight Harry Potter on Thursday.  Woohoo!!!!  (Yep...nerds.)  I'll try to get some photos. 

3.  Apparently when you get older, you're susceptible to infomercials.  I recently bought THE FIRM.  Will let you know how it is after I've used it a bit.  For those curious, I made the name in all caps a clickable link to their website. 

4.  Tim is in California this week enjoying 70-80 degree temps while we endure 110.  LUCKY!!!

5.  I just realized I never uploaded pictures from Kylie's birthday.  Coming soon though...I promise!

BBQ at Friends House on July 3, 2011

We went to Chris and Colleen's house to grill and let the kids swim yesterday.  They are super nice and had fireworks, too so I had to take a few pictures.  Unfortunately, these photos are dark because I forgot my camera and used my phone.  (Dark photos are better than NO photos though, right?)  I thought the pictures were cute, despite the darkness!  (Collin kept dodging the camera, so I didn't get one of him alone or posing though!)

Babysitting Pics and Lilly's Trip to Pet Smart

A couple weeks ago we took some photos of Kylie with the two ADORABLE girls she babysits.  (They love her and she loves them!)  I meant to share them sooner (so sorry), but I have them uploaded now so here you go:
